UFO Presents MARS
Unapologetic Femme Opinions (UFO) are three Filipinx artists, J. Cuenco, R. Dela Rosa & Eme and MARS is their first group solo show. MARS is derived from kumare, a term used to express unconditional love amongst close friends. The collective explores expressions of identity through video installation and photography.

'John Plastic' is a collage video piece on the transformative nature of killing our ‘selves’ curated by anti-cultural, non-identity pushing institutions and egos. We will no longer shelve our tongues and identities: today John dies.

Eme
‘Blue Barbie’ is an extract from the series ‘It’s A Boy!’. The work is a donated everyday object spray-painted to skew and transgress our understanding of learnt ideas of gender and sexuality. This is dedicated to the queer community that everyday continue to fight for their right to live whilst educating and recreating the way we understand the world.
